Social Skate Summit
I had the opportunity to speak at the Social Skate Summit, an international gathering celebrating the impact of social skateboarding around the world. As part of the “From Passion to Profession” panel, I shared my journey turning my passion for skateboarding, photography, and community into a professional career. The three-day summit brought together grassroots organizations, educators, youth workers, and community leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the power of skateboarding to create positive change.
Beyond Boards Podcast
I joined the Beyond Boards Podcast to share my journey through photography, skateboarding, and storytelling. We talked about growing up in Mexico, picking up my first camera at 15, moving to Vancouver, Canada, and how my background in tourism, advertising, and marketing shaped my creative path. I shared my experience working in the mountain bike industry, discovering skateboarding at 31, and how it opened doors to travel the world documenting women and underrepresented skate communities.

I joined the Carving It Out Podcast to share my journey from growing up as a shy kid in Mexico to becoming a skate photographer, storyteller, and community organizer. We talked about the power of representation, building community through skateboarding, the importance of travel, and how photography and skate culture transformed my life.
