9th Stop, Drop and Roll – A Celebration of Community and Skateboarding

EVENTS, PHOTO RECAP, SKATEBOARDING

On September 21st, the Britannia Courts in so called Vancouver buzzed with excitement for the 9th annual Stop, Drop and Roll, hosted by the amazing Rosie Archie. Ever since attending my first one, I always make it a priority to be in Vancouver for this event. This all-women, girls, trans, and non-binary skate jam has become an essential part of the local skateboarding community.

Stop, Drop and Roll is more than just a skate event; it's a celebration of inclusivity and empowerment. Rosie Archie continues to bring us all together with her dedication to creating safe spaces for everyone to skate, regardless of identity or skill level. Each year, the energy and passion at this event remind us that skateboarding is for everyone.

Thank you, Rosie, for your hard work and for making this event so special. A big shoutout to everyone who helped bring this jam to life! I’m grateful to have captured the magic of this day, and I hope you enjoy these photos.

See you all next year!
