A year ago, I made the big move to Toronto with the goal of exploring a career in journalism. This achievement marks a significant milestone in my journey, and I couldn’t be more excited to share.
As someone whose first language is Spanish, the fear that my English writing might not be good enough has often lingered. Yet, with the unwavering support of my mentor Solana Cain and the incredible community at Room Up Front, I have been able to overcome that fear and push through the doubts.
