The Ambush 2024 - Photo recap
This past weekend, I had the pleasure of traveling to Treaty 6 Territory, also known as Edmonton, Alberta, to be part of Tigers Skate Club's annual event, The Ambush. It was a fantastic experience to immerse myself in the vibrant skate culture of the region.
During the event, I had the chance to photograph the festivities and participate in a meaningful panel discussion titled "Beyond the Skatepark." I joined fellow panelists and friends Rose Archie and Denise Biziaev co-founder of Tigers, in exploring personal experiences and insights while discussing how to make our dreams come true. We also emphasized the importance of claiming space in skateboarding, reinforcing that there is a place for all of us in the community.
The Ambush was a celebration of skateboarding's inclusivity, community spirit and empowerment. To wrap up, I’ve put together a photo gallery capturing the highlights of the event. Enjoy the vibrant moments from this lovely weekend!
